Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park

So, we absolutely loved our day out last week to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park (as I’m sure you could tell by the 100’s of photos I’ve uploaded!) . I had been so excited to take the girls, they are 21 months and absolutely Peppa obsessed.

Paultons Park is voted the No1 Theme park in the UK and it certainly lived up to that title.

We set off early to avoid traffic, and picked up a McDonald’s breakfast on the way, because what great day out doesn’t start with McDonald’s breakfast, right?! We got to Paultons Park 15 mins before the park opened which was great because we were practically the first people in the park.

The girls faces complete lit up when we went in, they were so excited! Pulling us along as to say ‘Hurry up Mum! Look where are we!’

I had downloaded the handy app onto my phone to see what rides there were and during the day it meant we could check up on queue times which was really helpful.

Peppa & George came out to meet all of the guests around 10.15am which was such a lovely touch as it felt like they were welcoming all the guests in. It really set up such a magical feel for the rest of the day.

All details of the park are to perfection, and the park is immaculately kept.  We went on about 5 rides in Peppa Pig World in total and queued no longer than 15 minutes for any of them.  Ours and the girl’s favourite ride was for sure Grampy Rabbits sailing club, short queue time and floating around all different scenes from Peppa Pig was just so lovely and imaginative.

The girls enjoyed having the freedom to explore Mr Potatoes outside playground with the soft foam flooring. “Peppa, Peppa, George” is all we heard all day.

We stopped for some lunch, me and Jack had a Hotdog, chips and a drink for £6.95 which I thought was reasonable for theme park food. After lunch the girls started getting tired so we went for a stroll around the main gardens, there are a few different themed gardens in the park our favourites were the snakes & ladders gardens and the forest friends gardens, as the girls loved shouting out the animals they could recognise. They enjoyed seeing all the tropical birds, penguins and the giant tortoises! We even stopped to watch the Meerkat feeding. For children that love animals Paultons park is perfect.

After our walk around the park and the beautiful gardens we headed back to Peppa Pig world for a couple more rides, including Miss Rabbits helicopter flight & windy castle that was quite high but the girls loved it and weren’t scared at all (unlike me.. haha).  Our final stop was the gift shop, where we did spoil the girls a little, but how could you not?! There was such a wide selection of souvenirs from high range Peppa Pig World exclusive toys to a pack of 2 toothbrushes for £1.99!

I think, no joke, it was probably the best day of the girls lives so far in their eyes. Elsie woke up the next day with a crokey voice.. you know like when you’ve been at a concert the night before and your voice is crokey in the morning from screaming and singing…yeah that!

I would highly recommend taking any child above 20 months of age to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park. It caters completely to children and has such a magical feel to the park. Every last detail is covered and the staff can’t do enough for you. It is definitely worth the ticket price, we will 100% be returning in the near future.
